It has been about a year since I started using my Shopsmith Lathe Duplicator. Although it is designed to copy the shape of one part (or a pattern) onto another part. I’ve been experimenting with using it free hand.
I am working on a project that involves some simple turnings. So, I decided to see if I could do them all (including duplicate parts) using the duplicator free hand. That is, without a pattern part or hard pattern.
