Want to know why we turned an upcoming exhibit in our 1950s Town into a giant canvas? Our Make Your Mark activity saw Beamish visitors, members of the community and Norman Cornish family members create amazing artwork directly onto the walls of No. 2 Front Street terrace.
The exhibit, which is part of our Remaking Beamish project and is due to open next year, will tell the story of the Spennymoor Settlement of artists, writers and poets, and is based on the former home of celebrated North East artist Norman Cornish.
