Farewell Johnny Miner was originally written by Ed Pickford and over time has become the 'anthem' for coal mining. We will be celebrating coal mining at Beamish during Old King Coal which takes place from 27th June to 1st July 2018; beamish.org.uk/events/old-king-coal
