Ultimate Paper Mache | Make A Yarn Bowl with Plaster Cloth and Paper Mache Clay @UltimatePaperMache | Uploaded February 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This was an easy project, and I know I'll be using this yarn bowl for years. In fact, I'll make myself a few more, because I'm trying to learn how to do Tunisian crochet with multiple color yarns, and that means more yarn bowls to keep them from getting tangled up. If you'd like to see screen-shots and written instructions, you can find them here: ultimatepapermache.com/make-a-yarn-bowl
If you know anyone who knits or crochets, this would make a lovely gift, especially if you personalize your yarn bowl by painting it with their favorite colors - or maybe a drawing of a kitten chasing yarn? That would be fun. π
I mentioned quite a few things in the video, so here are the links - If I forgot any, please let me know:

Plaster Cloth: amzn.to/2Ok5N6v
Small Sander: amzn.to/3cN1r1U
Varnish: amzn.to/3rCHX3Z
Be sure to come to my blog and show off your yarn bowl when it's done. I really want to see how it comes out: ultimatepapermache.com/daily-sculptors-group-page
