This is a very interesting demonstration, electric ARC at about 400Kv (400000 volt) are generated by this DIY device, built on a 2 cm thick block of fir wood, it will be used to generate high voltage discharges for my experiments. The generator is powered by 3 AA batteries of 1.5v each, connected in series so as to supply a voltage of 4.5v at the input to the coil.
