On June 22, WMATA implemented some major changes to the Washington metro system. After ATO has been successfully implemented, now the operating hours have been extended, red line runs more frequent service, and the silver line has been split, with every other train running to New Carrollton instead of Largo. There are also rush hour “shuttles” between Stadium-Armory and Wiehle-Reston East.
