The upcoming Maharashtra polls have sparked a high-stakes battle over seat sharing. The incumbent Mahayati has announced candidates for 99 seats, but consensus is yet to be reached within the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Seats across Maharashtra, including Vidarbha, Marathwada and Mumbai, are disputed, with both Congress and Shiv Sena laying claim. The BJP has released their first list of 99 candidates, including Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bhawankule.
