In 2020, baking bread or ordering yoga mats were, for many of us, the highlights of the lockdowns caused by COVID-19. Marco Bailo, the Mayor of Magliano Alpi ๐ฎ๐น, a commune of 2200 inhabitants in Italyโs Piedmont region, had a different idea. Putting his background as an architect to good use, he built Italyโs first renewable energy community โก๏ธ. We have been assisting this Italian first-of-a-kind energy community with data, know-how, and simulation capacity.
