Taxi boss Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni is expected to take the stand at the Madlanga Commission this morning. Sibanyoni is expected to answer questions on Kwaggafontein and alleged criminal syndicates. He is believed to operate a transport empire consisting of about 400 minibus taxis across Gauteng and Mpumalanga. Sibanyoni has also been identified as an alleged victim in another case after underworld figure, Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala, allegedly attempted to assassinate him during a 2022 ambush.
