Retired Hawks head Godfrey Lebeya has denied interfering in a December 2024 raid on alleged cartel kingpin Katiso “KT” Molefe. At least three witnesses at the Madlanga commission of inquiry, including Crime Intelligence Head Dumisani Khumalo, testified that Lebeya deployed a Hawks team to disrupt the joint operation.
