The Madison County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double murder-suicide in the Town of Madison.
The sheriff's office said deputies arrived at a home at 7625 McCormick Rd. on Friday morning for a welfare complaint.
The office said the first deputy to arrive at the home smelled a strong odor of propane/gas in the area and could hear the gas escaping from the house.
The deputy saw the bodies of two adults when looking into the home from a first-level window. Deputies then found a third deceased adult when they entered the home.
The names of the deceased, or their relation to each other, were not released by law enforcement.
