Madden 08 Superbowl Xbox 360 Franchise Sean Taylor vs Tom Brady
These two teams met in week 5 of the regular season, and the Redskins were able to win on a last minute drive from Jason Campbell. Since then, the Patriots have not lost a game, and the Redskins have only lost one. This was the showdown that I wanted because despite a 24-21 win, New England did not have Wes Welker, and I wanted to prove that this defense could shut this vaunted New England offense down. Challenge accepted, and emphatically answered. The offense for the Redskins was terrible, but the defense was on fire, picking Brady 5 times (5!), including two by Super Bowl MVP Sean Taylor.
You just couldn't script it any better than this. Sean Taylor, in his last 3 games (all playoff games), forced a safety, picked 6 Drew Brees, and picked 6 Tom Brady. On his last ever defensive play, picked off Brady again. In his last ever game, was Super Bowl MVP.
