Macy's Walnut Room At Christmastime Is The Perfect Place To Eat In Chicago & Their Tree Is Amazing!
We try to go to Chicago every year during the Christmas holiday season, and one of the reasons we go is to eat at the Walnut Room at Macy's on State Street! The food is great and the atmosphere is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. We really look forward to seeing how their giant Christmas
tree will be decorated, and this year, 2022, the theme was "Toyland". There were larger-than-life toys all around the tree, which is actually hung from the ceiling above and not set in the base below. The center room around the tree constantly changes colors and the tree itself is lit with many colorful lights. The tree alone is enough reason to go to the Walnut Room, but the food is another good reason, because ours has always been delicious! We'll be back again next year for another visit to Chicago, Macy's, and the Walnut Room!
