Up until recently Bay View Refuse serviced Kensington a Census-designated place in Contra Costa County with quite the unique service in todays modern terms. As many city's and towns especially in California have already transitioned to carted automated or semi-auto collection for many decades, only recently due to a Senate Bill did a wonderful and efficient system meet its end. As in this video of the unlimited yard waste collection you will see very generous set outs of customer provided bins and just like my recent video of Bay Cities Refuse, the same company just servicing Sausalito, the Recycling would be picked up curbside though with non company cans and trash had the option for on-premise collection. Late January of 22' EVR-2's of all many size options made there way to each account for all three systems and will be collected curbside with the same trucks as before. Definitely saving the backs of the guys darting up stairs with a big pack can to collect trash at it seemed every other resident on some streets. I would like to make my way back now that the new system is in place to see how yard waste is being dealt with just being carted.
