Ever since I was told that Davis Waste Removal was going to custom built a new recycler I had many sleepless night pondering what it would be and look like. Let me tell you that this was noting what I was expecting. So Trashmonster26 came up to Davis,Ca to vist family and celebrate his B-Day, Monday a fresh week my dad and I ventured down to Davis to film with Andy a truck he was really looking forward (sort of) to, an ADR. It been about 2 months since i've went to Davis trying to find the new and or old ADR and only luck on the old. Anyway driving down the road where Andy's hotel was I see in the distance a pair of bright LED strobes by the way we haven't even entered DWR territory and we found our first truck working on the border line. I've never seen a so fresh ADR so my hopes where up it was the custom one, sure was but then we see the grippers. Andy and I where SO bamboozled and didn't know what was going on. At first I didn't even think it was CNG a there was no sticker on the back (truck is CNG). Anyway driver was cool and after filming for an hour it was time to dump. With one cool truck filmed we set out to film a diesel ADR. The driver wasn't to fond of beaning filmed (I nor Andy said a word and he yelled out NO!) so bummed we set out to film a cardboard MSL you guys will see later. Anyway here is a refurbished ADR with Amrep grippers instead of a bucket mounted on a CNG Freightliner M2. Very weird and cool. ALSO BIG BIG thx to the Davis Waste Removal team for being so knowledgeable and nice and let us film trucks unload!
