My second ever attempt at gear cutting. I decided to grind the tool myself from a broken tap, and build a holder to mount in the milling machine. It seemed to work fairly well, aside from my inability to make an accurate gear tooth form on the bench grinder. I was able to correct this by taking additional cuts to shave off the interfering material. I now have a functioning drill stand!
