Closing arguments in the case against Lindsay Clancy began on Thursday morning. The defense argued that the “damn medicine and lousy medical care” Lindsay received contributed to her actions and said the prosecution must prove its case beyond its burden. He also told jurors they had “ripped the soul” out of Lindsay. The prosecution argued that Clancy had access to help and resources but rejected support when it didn’t come on her terms or within her preferred timeframe.
