Our Swiss Grosi has teased these cookies a few times already, and now she is finally sharing her well kept recipe with you. đŞâď¸ The best part is that they are incredibly easy to recreate. There is only one secret ingredient you will need to add yourself: a generous sprinkle of love. â¤ď¸
Recipe:
đŞAirplane Cookies
250g butter
125g powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 egg white
350g flour
Currant jelly (for filling)
How to make the airplane cookies:
1) Put the softened butter in a bowl and stir.
2) Add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt and mix well.
3) Add the egg white and mix in.
4) Add the flour and knead into a dough.
5) Leave the dough to rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
6) Roll out to 3 mm and cut out shapes.
7) Bake at 200°C for 6â8 minutes.
8) Fill with jelly while still warm and sandwich together.
9) Decorate with a red nose.
