The use of fonts is essential when we work on GUI. Headlines should be emphasized, and font size and style should change depending on the importance of the information. In this episode, we'll learn how to use a C file containing a glyph bitmap from a new font file.

![Easy On-Screen Controls for Embedded GUI | Creating a Virtual Joystick in LVGL
In this video, I demonstrate how to use a virtual joystick using LVGL, the powerful embedded GUI library. While LVGL doesnt yet support multi-point touch, this library offers a simple and effective solution for implementing on-screen joystick controls. Perfect for projects requiring interactive input, this joystick library is a must-have for any embedded developer.

![They asked Can it run DOOM? so I did this.
Someone asked if my ESP32-S3 + 4.2 RLCD setup could run DOOM. Challenge accepted.
MCU: ESP32-S3 (No GPU, No OS)
Display: 4.2 Reflective LCD (Ambient light only, 400x300 native res)
Graphics: 1-bit Bayer dithering (pixels are strictly ON or OFF)
Code: Based on Espressifs esp32-doom (PrBoom port)
Audio: 8-channel SFX mixer on Core 1 (Hum E1M1 yourself!)
WAD memory-mapped straight from flash.
Because everything must run DOOM.

ESP32-S3-BOX-3 also provides a wide variety of assembly components and accessories. ESP32-S3-BOX-3-SENSOR and ESP32-S3-BOX-3-DOCK are both accessories that provide additional functionality to BOX-3. The SENSOR has multiple built-in components, such as a temperature humidity sensor, an IR emitter, and a receiver, as well as a radar sensor. The DOCK has two Pmod™-compatible headers (16 programmable GPIOs), which allow developers to use additional peripheral modules. ESP32-S3-BOX-3-BREAD is an adapter that is specifically designed to make it easier to connect the BOX to a standard breadboard. The ESP32-S3-BOX-3-BRACKET adapter supports integrating ESP32-S3-BOX-3 with any device, empowering users to develop new potential on non-smart devices.

![StickiNote: A Sticky Notes App for ESP32-P4 & MIPI DSI!
Introducing StickiNote – The Ultimate Digital Sticky Notes App for ESP32-P4! 🚀
This embedded Post-it application is optimized for ESP32-P4’s high-speed clock and MIPI DSI 10-inch display, delivering a smooth and responsive user experience!
Features:
✔️ Digital sticky notes – create, edit, move, resize, and delete notes.
✔️ Persistent storage (NVS) – notes are saved as JSON and restored on reboot.
✔️ Animated splash screen – seamless UI transition.
✔️ Floating Action Button (FAB) – quickly add new notes.
✔️ LVGL 9 optimized – for smooth animations and low memory usage.
✔️ Touch & Drag support – fully interactive UI.
Why ESP32-P4?
This project requires ESP32-P4 for its fast clock speed & MIPI DSI support to run smoothly on a 10-inch high-resolution display. Standard ESP32 boards may not perform optimally.
