We went to the Haliburton Post House, a luxury resort in the Haliburton Highlands area of Ontario. This resort is located about 10 minutes north east of Minden, Ontario and about 20 minutes south west from Haliburton. If your leaving from the Toronto area it's about 2.5 hours away, making it a great destination to escape the city.
This luxury resort has everything you need for the perfect getaway and you can stay in one of their 3 luxury cabins or their cute bunkie. Plus the whole lodge can be rented out and it offers 5 additional bedrooms all with queen beds.
