Through (literal) hell and highwater, Dafne was finally closing in on Lurruna's core to investigate the source behind the bizarre weather.
First, you start a careful climb up the volcano... and then jump right into it.
After a good fall full of Batteries, you already face a midboss. The trickiness of this one is that it is beneath the floor your standing on... and also some of its attacks can tear through ground. The gaps can get so long that not even your roll jump will able to reach you over.
You beat this boss by either toss bombs downwards at it, or hitting the minions it launches at you. They may then break out and fall right onto the boss.
Past this fight, you get to finally fall lower without dying.

This next Act plays like a regular course. One with some of the toughest enemies, of course.
ANOTHER high-heat, based danger will follow you here later on. You will be passing by floors, walls, and ceilings off lava. If ANY explosives, from the enemies' bombs to Dafne's own touch this lava, a massive pillar of flame that stretch across the whole screen will blast out. Be very aware of where you are when that happens whether it's the enemies fault or your own.
(5:23 - 5:58 Hmmmm? That's an odd guy...)
This was truly one hell of a level for me to get through, and I'm just playing on Practice. I could learn to do better than this.
Again, Practice Mode of this game has infinite continues, and by "infinite", I mean 9999 of them. You really wanna spend time going through them all?
The last regular part of this Act has you using a huge elevator downwards. Hordes of enemies will follow after you during this. Blast them all away!

Then... you reach the final boss...
It's a massive walking tank of destruction called Ragna-Roc! It's weak point is its eye. But that eye also possesses different attacks. You will have to use every single one of your moves to try and survive its onslaught.

But then... when you finally beat this final boss... If you have done so in Practice Mode, something very odd happens...
Let's just say... You get a very indulgent fake ending. What do I mean by "indulgent"? Well, I'll let the video speak for itself on that.
But for context: Konami has been known to hide the full or real endings of some of their classics behind higher difficulties, and it looks like this game paid tribute to that, as well, in a really quirky way I should add.
I feel not everyone is gonna like this, especially if they already didn't like Konami doing that, but I had a nice chuckle out of how this take on it played out.

So then! That's it! If you really wanna see how this game ends, you'll have to play it in Professional Mode, which will be harder than Practice (only 5 continues in a single session!), but hopefully the experience you gained from playing in Practice will help if you started with that, first.
