“Huat” is that we hear? It’s the time of year to lo hei again!

Lo Hei, also known as the “prosperity toss,” is a unique Southeast Asian Lunar New Year tradition. “Huat” are the ingredients that go into this prosperity toss? And “huat” are the auspicious sayings that go with the ingredients? For many of the U.S. Embassy staff celebrating Lunar New Year in Singapore for the first time, it’s an experience like no other. Watch as they pour their heartfelt Lunar New Year greetings into this video to wish everyone a happy and prosperous Year of the Rat!
