Messing around on a new kit I just finished. It's my homage to 69/70 Bonham. I actually bought raw shells (26" kick, 12" x 14" rack tom, 16" x 16" floor tom) and stained them with Colonial Maple to darken them up. Then I applied about 10 layers of Hi-Gloss Tongue Oil. I have a 16" x 18" that I'm working on finishing up to add to this set, and then my Bonham collection will be complete. These aren't exactly authentic Ludwigs, but I love the way they sound!
