I just finished re-furbishing a kit made up of early 70's Ludwig donor shells. The 14 x 26 is actually a little messed up. It's a little warped and has splits in the wood on one of the layers. However, it still sounds pretty awesome once everything is on and tuned up. The rack tom is a 10 x 14 from 1970, and the floor tom is a 16 x 18 from 1971. It's gotta be my favorite 18" floor tom of all time. The thing is incredible.
Someone had asked for a cover of Black Dog, and so this is a video of different variations I've heard Bonham play throughout the years (primarily 71/72 when they first started playing it). Hope you enjoy!
