Unboxing the L-TWOO RX 12 speed. A brand new fully hydraulic carbon fibre groupset, does it live up to the hype?

L-TWOO are a Chinese company and have been in business producing great value groupsets since 2016. I have personally tried their R9 11 speed groupset, their GR9 gravel groupset, and most recently I have been riding their RX 12 speed mechanical groupset.
Their brand new RX Hydraulic, is the first fully hydraulic road bike groupset to come from a Chinese manufacturer, and directly compete with the likes of Shimano, Sram, and Campagnolo.
It’s 12 speed, uses lightweight carbon fibre shift paddles, offers fully hydraulic braking, and easily undercuts the competition in terms of pricing. To say I have been excited to try this out is a MASSIVE understatement.
It is relatively difficult to get hold of at the moment, as L-TWOO haven’t officially started to sell them outside of China. However, I paid a bit of a premium and bought my set from a re-seller on AliExpress.
In this episode, I’ll be unboxing the groupset, demonstrating the quality of the components, discussing the cost, the weight, and hopefully concluding whether this can compete with other fully hydraulic road bike groupsets on the market.
