What started as a bone-stock 1990 Jeep YJ is now a full-send LS-swapped rock crawler built to punish trails and turn heads. Powered by a nasty 408 stroker LS, this Jeep packs a Dana 60 front, shaved 14-bolt rear, 5.38 gears, Atlas transfer case, and a bulletproof TH400 transmission. Add full hydraulic steering, ORI struts, and tons of Holley performance parts, and you’ve got a purpose-built off-road weapon.
Built almost entirely in a home shop in Kansas, this Jeep is 99% hand-fabricated—from the axles to the headers—with only the cage outsourced. Originally built for the wife… now it’s a full-blown trail toy. Filmed at LS Fest Texas, this build is all about LS swaps, hardcore fabrication, rock crawling, and real-world off-road performance.
