LRPD officer Thomas Shook, responding to a report of a disturbance with a weapon, detained Gregory Williams at a gas station on South University, August 9.
While Williams was being detained, Shook placed the muzzle of his Glock against the back of Williams' head until another officer pushed Shook's gun aside with his hand.
Officers determined Williams was unarmed and the gas station clerk declined to press charges. Williams was treated at the scene for "potential heat illness" before officers drove him to his apartment.
