Hello everyone!!
I came across this beautiful picture of Ernest and I. I absolutely love it. I was taking a selfie of us and he wouldn't look at the camera because he was too busy talking so I just took the picture anyways. I love the way he's looking at me, and I felt like I looked good that day (haha!) so I felt the photo came out really well. We don't have a ton of pictures of just us enjoying ourselves alone - this was a formal wedding for a friend we attended and Calen stayed home with my mom that night. That also happened to be my birthday so it was just a fun night all around!
To make this page I first had to figure out what background paper I wanted to work with. I had a stash kit I've been working with on and off already put together so I figured I could pull supplies from there, but there were only 2 12x12" papers left in that kit and they just didn't work with this photo.
So I went to my Elle's Studio stash (I keep it grouped together even though most of the rest of my stash isn't sorted by manufacturer) and started looking through papers. I found this cool burst or ray paper in the teal and white colors and felt it worked perfectly! The phot is all just in black and white so I really could pick any color to coordinate, but who doesn't love teal!?
