"Lotus III - The Ultimate Challenge" was published by Gremlin Graphics and developed by Magnetic Fields in 1992.
The framerate is far behind what was on the Amiga version and some levels are close to Turbo Outrun framerate :-/
It is fairly playable anyway. But i had the feeling turning left is much faster than turning right? Although i am not playing from an original copy so it might not be behaving like it should?
recorded from my Atari STFM using Micomsoft SC-500N1 capture card and Xsync-1 as sync splitter, software used is AmarecTV.

Rainbow Warrior is a game by Source the Software House and was published by Microstyle in 1989.
I did not practice much before doing the video, this is the second try actually so dont expect any master gameplay :-) I never reached the last level.
Not a too bad game though, it has seven minigames (Greenpeace campaigns as the manual call them) and you can only select the seventh if you complete the six others first.
Good music and decent graphics.
Some shortcuts:
03:11 - Dumping at Sea
06:00 - Blocking pipes
13:50 - Stop seal clubbing
16:32 - Acid rain
28:30 - Ozone
36:35 - Whales
It took a while before i understood the seaweed was dangerous in the blocking pipes campaign :-)
Strange that the game is called Rainbow Warrior on the gamebox but in the game it says Rainbow Warriors... and on the game disks it is called Greenpeace only.

Early Atari ST shootem up that is pretty good, i only managed to get to stage 2... i should have practiced a bit more i think :-) It was quite difficult to see the enemy bullets in stage 2. And it is very easy to accidently shoot the powerups.
Hades Nebula was released in 1987 by Nexus.

- In 1985 did Atari Corp release the Atari ST computer.
- In 1987 did Namco release Pac-Mania in the arcades.
- In 1988 did Grandslam release the Atari ST version of Pac-Mania developed by Teque.
- In 1989 did Atari Corp release the Atari STE computer.
- In 2013 did Zamuel_A release a special Pac-Mania version for Atari STE.
Right, this is Zamuels conversion of Pac-Mania, it is largly based on code from the original ST version and uses some graphics from the Amiga version (still only 16 colours though).
Music is the same as the ST version but in the STE version so can SFX be played at the same time thanks to the two DMA sound channels... so YM-music and PCM SFX :-)
The upper under lower border is removed wich gives a more arcade like feeling, the arcade original was made for a vertical monitor setup.

And another random gameplay, with this many S:HK videos so could i just as well made an lets play to begin with ;) Well, its mostly a video for my memories so can can look back to this in the future and remember the days i played this game :)
This is what happens in this video: I have returned to Taymurian Wilds that used to be too difficult for me but since i leveled up so is it a bit more easy (i play on normal difficulty), i had cleared most of this area before making the video and then i enter the Moon Wilds and explore it fully and enter the Hidden Fortress and exlpore it fully also and then i enter the Main Hall and there is a big boss fight (look at that framerate) that i almost did not survive but i managed it :)
After that so do i enter Dyra Tyr but only explore a few minutes before ending the video.

Electra Demo released by Electra in january 1991.
The fake intro has some very strange effects that freakes out the capture card (or the capture software maybe) i use, so when the screen stalls and the bottom of the screen goes black and show garbage on the left side so is it a video capture error and not an effect from the demo... but in this case so does it just enhance the effect of the intro as it is supposed to be buggy :-)
When the intro bombs out so am i pressing the reset button on the ST and the real demo starts, this gives an impressive effect as it begins with an big scroller wich show outside the borders of the ST.
A quite cool demo, wich only fault is all the ripped Mad Max (Jochen Hippel) music it uses.... it gets a bit boring after while since you probably heard the music from hundreds of other ST demos already ;-)
I think i got all the scrolltexts from the screens thats why this video is over 1 and half hour long.There are some mention about a hidden screen also but i never bothered checking out how to get to it (if it really exist that is).

A fun roller ball game from Ubi Soft (1989).
Very slippery controls :-)
This game was also released under the name Skateball, i dont know the reason for the name change but it seems it was called Skateball in France( Canada?) and Skate Wars in the rest of the world.
The title screen (skate wars) also mention Epyx but neither the game box or manual has any mention of Epyx?

Just some more random gameplay, still a bit early in the game as i only played a couple of hours so far and i had still not found out you could stack waepons and items to get better versions of them :) This is a really awesome game that i cant belive i missed so far.

Xenon 2 - Megablast was made by the Bitmap Brothers and released in 1989, this DMA music hack for Atari STE was made by PP in 2015.
