Some major distinctions from the final, December 2002s build include a Sims-1-based personalities system (when, in actuality, the retail version came out with the premise of perceiving the players character as an extension of themselves, making the said system obsolete in the developers opinion, you could say)...
...and that straightforward and, why not, unsubstantial way of setting your fellow computer person as your everlasting Friend or Enemy, determining irreversibly the type of relationship and interactions you would be able to have with them. Whether or not its better off to have this feature changed, its up to you, my friend!
