In the woods in the Sumy region, just a few kilometers from the Russian border, I embedded with a Ukrainian mortar team attached to the regions territorial defense units. While getting to the units mortar position hidden in the woods, while our crew had to separate a considerable distance in order to avoid bunching up as an anti-drone measure, we got separated from those leading us forward. In woods like these, the trees look very similar, and its easy to get disoriented and lost.
