Released in 1989 for the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, and DOS, Lost Dutchman Mine puts you in the year 1896. Based off a true legend, you start off in town of Goldfield. This was a boom town that came to have over 20,000 people in the early 1900's to quickly having only a few hundred by 1920. It is currently a ghost town attraction.

I'm not sure what to classify this game as, you're on an adventure but it's not an adventure game... Perhaps closer to a simulation. You start off with nothing, just a bit of money for supplies. You must spend that money wisely in order to make more money so you can search the vast desert for the Lost Dutchman Mine. I sank many hours into this game as a kid, here is my review of a very overlooked gem, shown here at its best on the Commodore Amiga! This is an NTSC Amiga game meant to be played in 4:3, and I will proudly be the only one showing it that way.
