The Last Adventurer | Los Pinos Mountain - a great climb in San Diego's backcountry! @TheLastAdventurer | Uploaded February 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
At 4,805 feet of elevation, Los Pinos Mountain is one of San Diego County's taller mountains, and one of the hundred peaks on the Sierra Club's list. However, it is also more than that with a great climb that passes through single track trail up through a neat coulter pine forest. This hike also features good views of nearby Corte Madera Mountain; and for the adventurous, both peaks can be done in one day for a great Cleveland National Forest hiking experience.
