In 1980, the late country music legend Loretta Lynn recorded a series of public service announcements (PSAs) for the Natural Resource Conservation Services predecessor, the Soil Conservation Service. This collection of PSAs was recently digitized from the collections of the National Agriculture Library and is being shared in its entirety with NRCS staff in memoriam of Loretta Lynn and in celebration of the 2023 Women’s History Month theme, “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.”
