Kate made another appearance (just days ago on The Talk), but I'm not sure what she's promoting. I guess it's for Kate Plus 8 that airs in a couple of months. Some people think it's for damage control, who knows.
I was definitely looking forward to this since Lopez had a campaign and website to keep kate on dancing with the stars last April. Kate has also been the punch line to jokes on his show. But sure enough he was charming and whitty with her. His previous jabs at her either went over her head or she ignored them.
The interesting part will be to see what the blogs have to say since hater and sheeple sites will look at the exact same interview and say just how awful or fabulous she was. Still baffles me that this same interview will be seen with rose or shit covered glasses. Oh well.
In regards to Jon, Kate has said numerous times that for the sake of her kids she wont bash their father. That's fine. He has done some ass-like things and needs it once in a while (as does she). But she can't claim that holier than thou stance and allow the bashing or even agree with it... that's just as bad.
Right around the 7 minute mark she tells us about how she needs to find a rich guy to just take care of her. Really? She emphasizes how important the show is to pay the bills and that as soon as she doesn't need to she'll be out of the spotlight ("This is a paycheck to us, not a lifestyle"). So maybe that's the hope, to be just given everything she wants by a rich guy (I think that's what a lot of people hope).
The second part of that statement was the bestie claiming she has issues. Kate seemed a little offended, and the audience was certainly taken aback. But I think Kate realizes it's true. Anyone who has watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 can see just how controlling and belittling she can be. I'm stating this as a matter of fact, she could be quite harsh to Jon (and Jon's passive aggressiveness certainly warranted it some of the time). I've said it before, I really don't know if there's a guy out there that's right for her and her "issues." Not many people would put up with her narcisistic tendencies... would you date her? Looks fade, I'm talking about her personality.
In this interview she doesn't make any "I do it all statements." But she does admit that they spend time with dad (probably every other weekend), and then 3 days a week there's a babysitter. And when they travel there's 2 or 3 nannies with them. They are also in school many hours a day. So she may do it all, but there's a lot of time now that they're older that they're with dad, at school, or with the babysitter.
