In this Loop Micro Mount review, I test this tiny stem-mounted bike phone holder with my iPhone 17 Pro to see just how securely it can hold an expensive smartphone — including a much tougher off-road test than it's really designed for.
The Loop Micro Mount replaces your bike's existing stem cap, creating an extremely discreet phone mount that folds away when you're not using it. Unlike systems such as Quad Lock, it also doesn't require a dedicated phone case.
I installed the Micro Mount on my Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 e-bike before testing it on normal roads at speeds of up to 29mph, gravel, grass and finally a fast, extremely bumpy downhill trail at speeds of around 20mph+.
I also compare the experience with my previous Loop Mount and the Quad Lock system I've been using on my e-bike.
