The plaintiff says when he and his friends were out for a night on the town, they were nearly run down by the defendant. He says the defendant got out of his car, a fight started, and he was stabbed twice in the stomach. He is suing for his medical bills from the attack. The defendant and his wife claim that when he got out of the car, all he was looking for was an apology from the plaintiff for pounding on his car. Instead, he says he was assaulted by the plaintiff and his friends. He says he’s not responsible since the police didn’t charge him.
