The Yamaha XS650 is one of the most iconic motorcycles ever built. Inspired by the great British parallel twins of the 1960s but engineered with Japanese reliability, it earned a reputation that still draws enthusiasts all over the world β and unlike the bikes that inspired it, this one starts every time.

The Yamaha XS1, introduced in 1970, was Yamaha's first large-capacity four-stroke twin. Its success laid the foundation for the entire XS650 range, which stayed in production for more than a decade and became one of the most successful classic Japanese motorcycles ever built.
