This Thanksgiving Weekend, BEMF is "Looking Back at Orpheus" with free broadcasts featuring our June 2015 production of Monteverdi's Orfeo, our November 2011 production of Charpentier's La Descente d'Orphée aux Enfers, and an excerpt from our 2017 fully staged production of Campra's Le Carnaval de Venise which features an "opera-within-an-opera" on the the Orpheus myth. All three productions feature tenor Aaron Sheehan in the title role.
