With one crystal remaining, the gang heads out to the Tower of Babil in attempt to obtain some of them back, only for drama to occur.
The bosses fought here are the Calcabrina dolls, Golbez and Dr. Lugae and his robots. They were very tough, and required some luck to get through. It is essential to keep Rosa alive in this challenge, since she will be our healer, buffer, de-buffer.
Calcabrina Dolls: Cover Rosa for both stages of the fight (draw works too). First start off by killing the 3 front dolls until they become one. Immediately cast slow, and have Yang focus, while the others use their physical attacks. I want Rosa to blink everyone, because the doll is easily capable of KOing with one physical attack and can counter attack. Before the end of this battle, I want Cecil to have lots of HP for the next battle which is more difficult, and there is no time to heal up in between.
Golbez: You get a small time frame before Golbez kills the party, so immediately start off by casting slow. If Cecil gets a turn off try casting shell on him. Once Rydia joins the party, have Cecil cast Libra after each barrier shift, and have Rydia summon whatever his weakness is. I will need some luck here, because Golbez can cast osmose on Rydia, and I have no way to restore my MP. Cecil will do his best to keep those two alive in between Libras.
Dr. Lugaes pet golem thing is a jokel but you do lose one of the characters at the end of the battle. He is weak against lightning, so a round of focuses and lightning claws should quickly take him out. The self-destruct is scripted, and gives me a few turns to heal up for the second battle, since that one is not a joke :p
With Cecil being dead, this is will be very tough. The FIRST thing you want to do is cast Slow on Dr. Lugae. When Reversal Gas is in effect, Cure-type spells harm, normal damage heals. All his attacks are capable of wiping my entire party with one fell swoop. We just need to be at a decent level with some HP and just deal with it. I decide to use the focus strat, while others heal each other. If I have many people attack, he will use sleeping gas as counter, so a couple focused attacks should take him out.

Bosses: Senior Aps, Reno
Senior Aps: I can opt to use barrier to lower damage but I decided not to since his attacks arent overpowering. Threw a bunch of bought grenades to get rid of him.
Reno: He is easy if you can get poison inflicted. Not too many attacks to be worried about!
Hey guys I am back at it again with a Final Fantasy VII playthrough of the newest version of SegaChiefs New Threat Mod, 1.4! Being my favorite FF7 mod, I would highly recommend this to anyone.
A quick run down of what this mod brings to the table:
This mod aims for a reasonable but fast-paced level of difficulty, something that can be played seriously or for fun and which offers a lot of new content to discover. Bosses and enemies have been revised and a bunch of new ones are joining their ranks. There are also extensive flevel edits that allow for the use of different party leaders on Disc 3, an Extra Battle where the player can unlock new bosses by trading in items, additional side-quests, and a range of optional cutscene skips, additional save points & merchants, and other conveniences to ease gameplay for those feeling a bit jaded with the game.
This mod also allows for the use of Aeris past Disc 2, because why have eight when you can have nine? One of the parameters with this was to keep the footprint this creates for the story to an absolute minimum. By and large, events play out in the same way; only a few lines of dialogue needed to be altered slightly to make it work.
