Game: The Legendary Axe
System: Turbografx-16
Version: (US)
This is the longplay of the game The Legendary Axe, an action and platform game developed by Victor Musical Industries and published by NEC, released in 1988 in Japan and 1989 in the United States for the TurboGrafx-16 console.
The story of The Legendary Axe takes place in a distant land where its inhabitants are under the control of the evil cult of Jagu. The cult, which regularly plunders the countryside, is led by a half-beast man named Jagu. The game's protagonist, Gogan, lives in the village of Minofu, which must deliver a person as a human sacrifice to the Jagu every year. Gogan is studying warfare in a remote village when he discovers that his childhood friend, Flare, has been selected by the Jagu as their annual sacrifice. Rushing back to Minofu, he discovers that she has already been taken by the Jagu to the Evil Place, located in the mountains. The village elders give Gogan the Legendary Axe called "Sting", which gives him great strength to fight against the evil cult. Armed with this axe and with great courage, he sets out for the Evil Place to defeat Jagu and his cult and rescue Flare.
Gogan must go through stages, which have different themes, such as forests, mountains and caves, where he will face different types of enemies and different obstacles. The hero has a life bar, which decreases when he takes a hit from an enemy. The items for this adventure can be found by destroying the Jagu Idols, which hide different power-ups that can increase the character's strength and speed, as well as items to recover life and increase the power meter.
Additionally, Gogan has a flashing power meter at the top of the screen that determines how much damage he can inflict on enemies when swinging his axe. The power meter empties after an attack, then slowly refills to its maximum. The power meter increases by 25% whenever the player collects a "crystal container". This incorporates an element of strategy into the game, in which the player can perform a series of weak strikes with the axe, or wait and build up the power meter for a single, more powerful strike.
The game is good and was well received by critics and audiences at the time of its release. The music was composed by Jun Chikuma (the composer of the Bomberman series). This game was released exclusively on the Turbografx-16.
I hope you enjoy the video.

Game: Sunsetriders
System: Sega Genesis
Version: (US)
This is the longplay of the game Sunset Riders, an action and run and gun game, initially released in Arcades in 1991 and later on Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis in 1992. This is the Sega Genesis version.
The game is set in a Wild West setting. In the game, we control bounty hunters who travel through the Old West of the United States in search of the most terrible outlaws. At the beginning of each stage, the player is shown a poster with the name of the bandit to be eliminated, the amount of the reward and the famous phrase: Wanted dead or alive. The game is full of action and requires a lot of skill and reflexes from the players.
While in the Arcade and Super Nintendo we have four characters, here we only have two: Billy, an American who uses pistols and Cormano, a Mexican who uses a shotgun. This version is good, but very different from the original Arcade version, with several details omitted and music in different places. The video was made in Hard mode and playing with 2 players. I hope you enjoy the video.

Game: Final Fight CD
System: Sega CD
Version: (US)
This is the longplay of the game Final Fight CD, an action and beat n up game produced and distributed by Capcom, released for the Sega CD in 1993 in Japan and the United States, being a port of the original Arcade version (released in 1989).
The story of the game takes place in the city of Metro City, which has been taken over by crime by a gang called Mad Gear, who kidnaps Jessica, the daughter of Mike Haggar, a former professional wrestler and mayor of Metro City. Haggar was elected with the promise of eradicating the crime that infests the city and, faced with this situation, calls his friends Cody (Jessicas boyfriend) and Guy to help him in this mission of cleaning the city of any criminals that appear and rescuing Jessica alive.
The game is basically a beatnup, where we can choose the characters Cody, Guy and Haggar, each with their own characteristics and attributes: Guy is the most agile, with attacks that do less damage but with great skill with weapons in general, Haggar has the most powerful attacks but is quite slow, while Cody has balanced attributes, in addition to being the best character with knives. During the stages, we control one of the heroes and fight enemies using bare hands or weapons, pick up food to recover health and gems to score more points.
The game is a good port of the Arcade, considered by many to be the best home version of Final Fight, bringing things that were not included in the Super Nintendo version (which was criticized for the lack of multiplayer, the cuts made and the censorship for not having female villains). It is a very challenging game, with enemies that become quite strong as the stages progress. The game is very good, with a soundtrack with striking arrangements, in addition to featuring the villains Roxy and Poison. The only problems were the collision of the blows, which seem to be less precise and take some getting used to.
This video was made with 2 players, playing on Mania difficulty.
I hope you like it.

Game: Battletoads
System: NES
Version: (US) Bugfix
This is the longplay of the game Battletoads, an action, platform and beatnup game for various consoles. This is the NES version, produced by Rare and distributed by Tradewest, having been released in 1991 in the United States and Japan (whose publication was handled by Masaya) and in 1993 in Europe.
The games story revolves around three fighting frogs, named Rash, Zitz and Pimple, who are bodyguards responsible for escorting a princess named Angelica to her home planet. When Pimple and Angelica decide to take a peaceful trip in Pimples flying car, they are ambushed and captured by Dark Queen, who abducts them inside her ship Gargantua. In view of this, Pimple and Angelica manage to send a distress signal to the ship Vulture, which is commanded by Professor T. Bird, the mentor of the fighting frogs. Knowing that Gargantua is hidden beneath the surface of a nearby planet called Ragnaroks World. On board the Vulture ship, Professor T. Bird flies with Rash and Zitz towards the planet Ragnaroks World to rescue them. Between levels, the frogs receive comments from Professor T. Bird along with taunts from the Dark Queen.
In the face of this, Rash and Zitz will have to face all kinds of threats, from enemies such as pigs, rats and machines, as well as countless traps, all in order to rescue their friends from the terrible hands of the Dark Queen.
The game is basically a scrolling platform beatnup, with several elements of racing, climbing and obstacle courses using vehicles, which makes each level unique. In addition to normal attacks, it is possible to use special attacks, as well as pick up parts of enemies and use them as weapons. The game was released at the end of the NES generation and took full advantage of the capabilities of this console, in addition to having been well received by critics, but this game is best remembered for its extreme difficulty. Everything in this game is designed to prevent the player from advancing, from levels with high-speed vehicles (like the classic Turbo Tunnel level, where the frogs use motorcycles), to the bugs, which were quite evident in the American version of the game, for example, one that prevents the Clinger Winger level from being played by two players. In fact, playing this game with two players is much more complicated than playing alone, since it is possible for both players to hit each other, and neither of them can die, otherwise the level is interrupted and starts over. In other words, if one of the players makes a mistake, both pay for it. Several bugs were fixed in the Japanese and European versions. The game also has hidden warps to advance levels. The game is considered a classic, but it is remembered for its insane difficulty.
The video was made playing with two players, but a corrected American version was used to avoid most of the existing bugs. No warps were used.
I hope you enjoy the video.

Game: Mega Man
System: Nintendo Entertainment System
Version: (US)
Note: Note: The video was completely redone, with better quality, correct aspect ratio and more accurate emulation.
This is the longplay of the game Mega Man, known as Rockman in Japan, is an action and platform game developed and published by Capcom for the NES. It is the first game in the Mega Man series. It was released in Japan and North America in December 1987 and in Europe in 1989.
Despite the characters long and rich history, Megamans career started in a very simple way. Capcom, an Arcade developer at the time, set up a plan in the 1980s to make a new game made specifically for playing at home. Capcom left the project with some of its most talented and young creators, including an artist named Keiji Inafune, considered the Great Creator of Mega Man. Inafune, as a huge fan of anime, when creating the Mega Man Series was inspired by the anime Astro Boy (created by Ozamu Tezuka).
The game begins after the events surrounding the creation of the humanoid robot called Mega Man by the genius Dr. Wright (called Dr. Light in later titles) and his assistant, Dr. Wily. The two scientists also create six other advanced robots: Cut Man, Elec Man, Ice Man, Fire Man, Bomb Man and Guts Man. Each of these robots is designed to perform industrial tasks involving construction, demolition, logging, electrical operations or work carried out in high or low temperatures, all for the benefit of humanity in a place known as Monsteropolis. However, Dr. Wily is disloyal to his partner and reprograms the six robots to help himself in a plan to take control of the world. Dr. Light sends Mega Man to defeat these robots and end Dr. Wilys threat in non-linear phases.
Mega Man presents a configuration through which the player can choose the order of the initial phases to be completed. With each Robot Master defeated at the end of a level, a new weapon is added to the players arsenal to be used against enemies.
Mega Man was relatively well received by critics for its design. Although not a commercial success, the game was followed by an abundance of sequels and spin-offs, which are still being released to the present day, many of which use basically the same storyline, graphics and game settings instituted by the game, with evolutions.
The North American cover art of the first Mega Man is considered until today one of the worst and most controversial covers of games. When the game was originally released in the United States, the games history was changed in the instruction booklet and the cover art was left with an extremely disfigured artwork in relation to the game itself. On the cover Mega Man appears as a fat man wearing armor with blue and yellow parts and a pistol in his hand in place of Mega Buster.
Anyway, this is the video of the first Mega Man. I hope you like it. [Longplay] NES - Mega Man (4K, 60FPS)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/SUrh7ww4QA8/mqdefault.jpg)

Game: Mega Man Legends 2
System: Playstation
Version: (US)
This is the longplay for Mega Man Legends 2, a 3D action platformer and RPG developed and published by Capcom, released for the PlayStation, PC, and PSP. The game was released in 2000 in Japan (under the name Rockman D.A.S.H. 2) and the United States, and in 2001 in Europe. This is the PlayStation version.
The games story begins when Professor Barrel Caskett and his old friend Werner von Bluecher hold a press conference about their upcoming journey to Forbidden Island in a large airship called Sulphur Bottom to search for the Mother Lode. Barrel recognizes a reporter, Yuna, as his lost daughter, Matilda Caskett, who warns them of the catastrophe that could befall them if they continue their journey. Yuna escapes with her servant, a flying Reaverbot named Gatz, to break the windows for their escape. Ignoring her warning, Bluecher continues to the center of the island. Yuna orders Gatz to fire warning shots, but due to hostile retaliation from Sulphur Bottom, Gatz damages the engine, forcing the airship to descend to the island below.
Mega Man Volnutt and Roll Caskett watch the events on television and decide to rescue them. With Rolls help, Mega Man heads to the center of the island and in the process frees a girl named Sera and her servant Geetz, both of whom head to Sulphur Bottom. Geetz tells Bluecher and Barrel that the main vein can be accessed through four keys. Bluecher and Barrel ask Mega Man if he can retrieve the keys before the Pirates, who overheard his conversation with Geetz, do.
A sequel to the first game, this one revolves around Mega Man Volnutts quest to find four keys hidden on the planet to aid in the search for the Mother Lode, a legendary treasure believed to be a source of infinite energy. The character Roll Caskett also has more motivations in this version than in the previous one and will be of great help on the journey. The pirates Teisel and Tron Bonne are also back, and in addition to the Servbots, they also have two new allies to try to thwart Mega Man Volnutts plans.
The graphics and gameplay have been significantly improved. Unlike Mega Man Legends, where the player could enter various ruins with the approval of the mayor of Kattelox, here the player must pass various tests to earn a Digger license of a specific level. The license allows Mega Man to enter ruins that are off-limits to lower-class Diggers. Additionally, earning a license increases enemies health and strength, but once destroyed, they drop more refractor shards, which can be used in shops to purchase items. Mega Mans interactions with other characters can also affect the characters state, depending on whether he is kind to others or angers them.
Overall, its a good game, but, like the first, the plot takes a while to develop. Like the first game, this one also had an open ending, which disappointed many people, including me. This ending was supposed to set the stage for Mega Man Legends 3, but it was canceled, effectively burying the Legends series and leaving a bittersweet feeling.
The video was made by obtaining all weapons at maximum level, all sidequests, all chests opened, and all items purchased from the Junk Shop. The game features a lot of grinding to collect Zenny; I cut the final grinding session to make the video more watchable. You can only carry a maximum of 9,999,999 Zenny at a time. I also used the PSP enhancement version of the game, made by acediez, to make the items cheaper.
I hope you enjoy the video. [Longplay] PS1 - Mega Man Legends 2 [100%] (4K, 60FPS)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ThazyzUUDKs/mqdefault.jpg)

Game: Final Fight MD
System: Sega Genesis
Version: 0.94b+
This is a longplay of Final Fight MD, a homebrew beat-em-up action game (independently developed) created from scratch by Brazilian developer Mauro Xavier (@MXRetroDev) for the Sega Genesis console. Originally released in 2025, the game continues to receive updates and ongoing development.
The plot mirrors that of the original *Final Fight* arcade game: Metro City has been overrun by a gang known as Mad Gear. Mad Gear thugs kidnap Jessica, the daughter of Mayor Haggar—who was elected with the specific goal of eradicating crime in the city. Instead of relying on conventional methods, Mayor Haggar calls upon his friends Cody (Jessicas boyfriend) and Guy to take justice into their own hands and eliminate the criminals. To do so, the heroes hit the streets to defeat enemies using punches, kicks, grapples, and melee weapons.
In addition to the original mode—featuring Cody, Guy, and Haggar—there are several extras: additional modes (unlocked via achievements; players can choose whether or not achievement notifications appear on-screen, a feature disabled by default), the ability to play as Maki, a 3-player simultaneous mode, and various options that even allow for gameplay mechanics slightly different from the original.
The work accomplished by Mauro Xavier (programming), Master Linkuei (graphics and support), and Edmo Caldas (music and transcription) is incredible; they overcame the Sega Genesiss era-specific limitations to deliver an experience very close to—and, I would argue, better than—the original arcade version. It is a highly recommended game.
This video features a 2-player playthrough using default settings to keep the experience as close to the original as possible.
I hope you enjoy it.

Game: Super Mario Bros: Two Players Hack
System: NES
Version: v1.0
This is the longplay of the game Super Mario Bros. Two Players Hack, Super Mario Bros hack game for the NES. This hack makes it possible to play Super Mario Bros with two players simultaneously and was developed by Corpse Grinder and TI and released in 2018.
The game has exactly the same structure and story as Super Mario Bros. Here the brothers Mario and Luigi will need to go through various action and platform stages in 8 worlds, but here they will literally do it together.
The mod is simple, but very good for providing the possibility of playing multiplayer. Just like one of my Super Mario Bros videos (original), this one was also made obtaining all the games secrets, such as hidden blocks, bonus pipes and beanstalks. The video was made in three playthroughs. Hope you like it.

This is the longplay of Mega Man 6, known in Japan as Rockman 6: Shijō Saidai no Tatakai!! (ロックマン6 史上最大の戦い!! Rokkuman Shikkusu: Shijō Saidai no Tatakai!!), which means, Rockman 6: The Greatest Battle of All Time!). This is the sixth game of the Mega Man series and the last Mega Man game for NES/Famicom.
To counter Dr. Wilys repeated attacks, the Global Robot Alliance was formed, and one year later the First Annual Robot Tournament is held in order to determine the worlds strongest peacekeeping robot.
The tournament is hosted by a man known only as Mr. X, the leader of the mysterious X Foundation and many strong robots participate. Dr. Light, a pacifist, decides not to enter the competition, but sends the robotic hero Mega Man to supervise it.
At the end of the tournament, the mysterious Mr. X reveals that he has programmed the robots to take over the world and, behold, Megaman is back in action.
The gameplay in Mega Man 6 is largely similar to its five NES counterparts. The player takes control of Mega Man to complete a series of side-scrolling platform stages littered with smaller robot enemies and occasional larger mini-bosses. The players primary method of attack is the Mega Buster cannon, which can be charged with more powerful shots. At the end of each of the initial eight stages is a boss battle, where the player inherits that Robot Masters unique Master Weapon if successful.
Mega Man 6 introduces the Energy Balancer, which automatically refills the weapon with the lowest energy when picking up Master Weapon power. Another novelty is the fusion between Mega Man and Rush, which can transform into armor for our hero to fly or unleash powerful attacks. In addition, Mega Man can count on the help of Beat, a robot bird.
Its a great game, relatively more balanced and with outstanding bosses and soundtrack. Highly recommend.
I hope you enjoy the video. [Longplay] NES - Mega Man VI (4K, 60FPS)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/UyGkvzTApk8/mqdefault.jpg)

Game: Super Bomberman 5
System: Super Famicom
Version: (JP)
This is the longplay of the game Super Bomberman 5 (スーパーボンバーマン5), action and maze game produced and distributed by Hudson Soft and released for the Super Famicom in 1997, being the fifth and final game in the Super Bomberman series to be released.
The games plot begins when an evil bomber named Emperor Terrorin, who holds the power of time, frees several bombers from their prisons that orbit the planet Bomber. These villains are released and end up committing various crimes around the galaxy. These enemies are known as Fiendish Bombers, criminal bombers with different abilities, who are also playable characters in the battle game. White and Black Bomberman, the two main characters in the series, must defeat the fugitives in order to reach the Emperor and restore peace to their planet.
The game has the same style as the previous ones, where you must drop bombs to destroy obstacles and enemies. In Normal Mode, the main map is divided into zones, where each of these zones corresponds to a map from a previous game in the series (Zone 1 corresponds to the map from Super Bomberman 1, Zone 2 to that from Super Bomberman 2, and so on, while Zone 5 has completely new stages). Even though the level design is reused from previous games, the monsters and block layouts are different from the games that originated them. At the end of each zone, the player must face one of the Fiendish Bombers, and in this game they have more advanced artificial intelligence compared to the bosses from previous games, behaving completely differently from each other, which helps to compensate for the lack of giant bosses that exist in previous versions of the game. New items include the Explosive Mine and the Seeking Bomb, and the Louies (kangaroos), in addition to their characteristic abilities, also have different looks. There is even an evil Louie in this game, which is exclusively used by bosses. The game has a save and percentage system. This percentage increases as you complete the levels following the correct routes, in addition to having two types of portals at the end of the stage: the golden portal advances to a new stage, while the blue portal goes to a stage that has already been completed.
The games soundtrack is excellent and striking, and the graphics make good use of the Super Famicoms power. The game has Normal Mode (story mode) and Battle Mode (competitive mode, which can be played with up to 5 players via Multitap). It was the last game in the Super Bomberman series to be released and also one of the last games for the Super Famicom, being released near the end of the consoles cycle.
The video was made by getting 200% of the game, with all routes completed twice (once with 100% and normal items, while from 100 to 200%, the stages have more items, in addition to having items that can only be used from that point on). I hope you enjoy the video.
