Here is a tricky concept for revision in A Level Physics - longitudinal waves. Compressions and rarefactions on a displacement-distance graph can be tricky to identify. This video teaches you how to find them in a displacement - distance graph.

The direction of motion of a wave allows you to find compressions and rarefactions.

This video is suitable for AQA Physics, OCR Physics A and B, Edexcel, CIE and similar courses such as AP Physics and IB Physics and also for AS Physics for all exam boards.

Here is a great problem on refractive index and in a way, reverse critical angle and total internal reflection which was fantastic to solve. It involves dropping a ring along a boundary with two separate substances with different refractive index.
