Creepy design, but the miniboss itself goes down pretty quickly. Main thing to remember in this fight is to focus on the defense, his main combo can be countered by pressing deflect button 4 times, doing a short pause, deflecting 5 times, doing another pause and deflecting one more time. Sometimes he'll use a different combo in phase 2, which will come out much quicker (he usually does it after the unblockable attack) and will consist of three consecutive fast attacks and one unblockable at the end. Once you get the hang of it, it's really easy to do him without taking any damage.

This one was kinda interesting, as I didnt have any prior experience of fighting the sage without rolling. He has a tendency to not run away after getting hit in the first phase if he summons soulmass beforehand, so thats a good opportunity to deal a lot of damage to him. He also usually teleports to a place somewhere on the other side of the area in both phases, so ones best guess is to usually look for him there.
The second phase is kind of a gamble whether youll survive or not, as any of the clones can launch one of several ranged attacks right off the bat, being close to real sage and being separated from at least some of the clones by a piece of wall is super helpful. On a sidenote, Im not 100% sure what happened in 0:53 but it looked like one of the clones accidentally sniped Sages homing spell. It probably cant be consistently applied in any strategy against him, but I still found that kinda interesting :)
Not sure where to go from here, I gave Abyss Watchers a few tries but they give me trouble even in their first phase, do itll probably be either them or Deacons.")
