The police incident at the end of this film happened at 3pm on the 7th May 2011. I spoke to the police and patrons of a public house and got the bones of what happened the night before.
The man that was shot was Wayne Stockdale, aged 42 yeaes and he died on the 10th May in hospital. The police, according to the East London Advertiser, think he was an innocent victim of gunmen that were 'targetting' another person.
The BBC reported this on Saturday the 7th May 2011 on their website; "A man has been shot in the head and leg in east London.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was found by a member of the public in Devons Road in Bromley-by-Bow.
Police were alerted about the shooting at about 2220 BST on Friday. The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance and is said to be in a critical condition.
The Metropolitan Police said no arrests have so far been made in connection with the inquiry."
