Londell Bright was a three-year starter in football at Detroit Henry Ford High School (1991-1993). Henry Ford was 25-7 while Bright was on the team including a PSL runner-up in 1992 and a PSL championship in 1993. Bright was a two-way threat at defensive back and running back capable of a big play at any time. In fact, Bright ran the opening kickoff back for touchdown in the 1993 championship game in addition to over 100 yards rushing with an 92-yard touchdown run. In 1993, Bright was selected All-State by the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press. Bright accepted a scholarship to Oklahoma State University in 1994.
