So I finally bit the bullet and delved into a MOBA game...I'm LV17 at the moment and I still can't say whether I like the game/genre or not. I definitely like playing with a team though, which was part of the appeal of Killing Floor. Been a while since I played any PvP game in any manner of competition since TF2 in 2010...
At any rate, here's a FPVOD of my lame game play as support Nami.
NTGL stands for the Newbie Tuesday Gaming League, a group of people who wish to guide new players into playing League of Legends. It's not just for new people, but also people who are willing to teach/mentor others. We usually have an event on Tuesday 8 PM EST where new players will form premade teams and have more experienced players give advice. At the moment the group is relatively small, with about 30 or so regulars ranging from lower levels like myself to a few gold and platinum ranked players. It's all in good fun, so best leave the drama at home (or solo queue). Not to say that you can't have a heated personality, but just be mindful of others who joined this group to escape the infamous "toxicity" that seems to surround the MOBA genre...
Super Saturday is an event that is geared toward competition. As Tuesdays are for learning, Saturdays are a good time to demonstrate your skills against other members in the NTGL. And it's all shoutcasted so even non-participants can enjoy it!
