This was the start of my videos becoming a bit more visual.
After the Jackass video it seemed that people preferred the more visual side to the videos over the music so I started trying to make them a bit more interesting and inspired by the show I was doing the theme to.
This is the well known daily ITV show fronted by Phil and Holly who I have tried to recreate (along with Gino the sometime guesting chef). I hadn't thought of using green screen at this point so fumbled with trying to split screen the shots where there are 2 of me together which didn't work out as seamless as I had hoped.
The conditions for my lockdown videos were:
I only had a limited amount of time to learn (mostly by ear) and record the songs (as I was a key worker) so they were usually recorded in one or two takes so they are certainly not flawless recordings.
I played all the instruments (including programming the drums from scratch).
As the videos started to get more elaborate I could only film them within the confines of my house and garden in keeping with the lockdown rules.
