A brilliant comedy series ahead of its time. Apparently that was one of the reasons for it only asking one season as the producers thought the jokes were too quick fire for audiences to keep up.
This was the epitome of deadpan humour. Still holds up today.
Leslie Nielsen had been a serious actor up until 'Airplane' I believe and then his straight faced brilliance led to this and the subsequent Naked Gun films.
The obvious video for this was to create an homage to the end credits scenes from the programme where they did the classic freeze frame end shot but was just them trying to stay still while everything went on around them.
The conditions for my lockdown videos were:
I only had a limited amount of time to learn (mostly by ear) and record the songs (as I am a key worker) so they were usually recorded in one or two takes so they are certainly not flawless recordings.
I played all the instruments (including programming the drums from scratch).
As the videos started to get more elaborate I could only film them within the confines of my house and garden in keeping with the lockdown rules.
