As the death toll climbs in Nepal and China after catastrophic flooding, some cultural and religious groups are coming together to keep hope alive in the midst of tragedy.
The Budha Khari foundation organized a candlelight vigil at Lingle Park with other nonprofit cultural and religious groups.
"We have a lot of Nepali communities here in Central Pa, and having people show up in these types of events means that we still care, despite being very far from the disaster locations. We care about home and just wanted show small support," Keshab Acharya of Harrisburg said.
