Early one morning this past April, I loaded and took one of our South Poll steers into our local meat processors. It was a beautiful morning on the farm and we wanted to try to capture it just as it was… to be able to have and remember simple, yet special days and times in our lives.
Later, when I went back to pick up our beef, my nephew Mikel and I spent a couple hours touring Brick Church and helping the owners, Brad and Brooklyn, tell the story of what their doing and why they do it.
